Send Thank You Notes to Wrap Up the Holidays

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Returning to the daily grind after the fun and festive holiday season is over can sometimes feel a little sad. If you’re looking for a way to combat the mid-January doldrums, take a tip from The Gratitude Challenge and encourage your family to focus on everything they feel grateful for instead of all the things they will miss about their Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s celebrations.

One of the best ways to get your loved ones in a thankful mindset is with fun holiday thank you cards they can share with friends and loved ones. Here are a few of our favorite designs to help you kick off 2010 in a spirit of gratitude!

Take a Moment for Gratitude

Monday, December 7th, 2009

It seems like the entire world has been thrown into holiday chaos, with stores packed, calendars overflowing with holiday events, people scrambling for gift ideas and family members making last-minute travel plans. But in the midst of all of the stress and strife that comes with a busy holiday season, it can be all too easy to forget the softer, gentler side of the winter holidays.

If you are feeling a little stressed out (or even a little cynical), take a moment out of your day to check out The Gratitude Challenge. This project, which was started by Tiny Prints staffers as a way to help us stay on the brighter side of life, has taken off into a global movement dedicated to daily appreciation of life’s little blessings. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Download the Gratitude from A to Z activity, which asks you to make a quick list of all the things you feel most grateful for using the alphabet as a guide
  • Download our 7-Day or 21-Day Gratitude Challenge Calendars for little daily activities for you and your family members to participate in all season long
  • You can even purchase these gorgeous thank you cards designed by actress Angela Kinsey from “The Office” specifically for The Gratitude Challenge. The proceeds will benefit KaBOOM!, an organization dedicated to providing a safe place to play for every child in America.

Perfect as a personalized gift for friends or as your post-Christmas thank you notes, these lovely little designs are sure to help you appreciate every little blessing life sends your way this season!

Happy World Gratitude Day!

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Guest Post from Tiny Prints Founder and CEO, Ed Han

Since today is World Gratitude Day, I want to thank all our bloggers from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to participate in The Gratitude Challenge.

Not only did you complete every step of The Challenge with style and grace, but your stories of heroism, hope and harmony have inspired countless readers to do the same.

We started this project as a internal movement focused on helping our colleagues to achieve one simple goal—to counter everyday stress and negativity with daily affirmations of gratitude. As The Gratitude Challenge grew to include bloggers outside of our company, however, we learned just how much gratitude can change a person’s life.

From tornadoes to car accidents, fires and family drama, The Gratitude Challenge saw our bloggers through meaningful, life-changing events. We learned so much from this experience that we made a short video about how gratitude can revitalize your perspective. You can watch it below:

We hope this experience has meant as much to you as it has to us, and we hope that you and your readers will to continue to follow our progress as we invite the world to join the movement at gratitudechallenge.com.

Best wishes,

Ed Han
