Devon Riesenberg from The Jack Chronicles shares her bee-eautiful yellow and buzz-worthy baby shower inspiration.
For my spring baby shower, I knew I wanted a whimsical gender neutral theme. Upon stumbling across the What Will It Bee? Tiny Prints invite, I was completely sold on my concept. I fell in love with the pretty yellow color, the bumblebee art, and the overall contemporary motif. The invitation is simple and modern, but also just the right amount of elegance which was exactly how I wanted my event to come across.
Our private party room at local restaurant True Food Kitchen was styled with rustic-chic decor and bright yellow metal chairs that matched my theme perfectly!
I gifted handmade party favors using honey bear jars and Burt’s Bees lip balm, assembled with orange bakers twine. I attached a little scalloped paper tag to each favor with an inked bee stamp that read “Thank you for BEEing here!”
Mini tulip bouquets in bold shades of yellow and orange and simple succulent potted plants were used to decorate our table scape. The centerpiece was a “What Will It Bee?” cake, adorned with little fondant bumblebees, and yellow, white, and black frosting.
Thank you Tiny Prints for designing such an amazing and beautiful invitation that inspired my perfect baby shower!
