Every year, all of us at Tiny Prints put our birthday cake baking skills to the test with a company-wide competition (you can see photos from last year’s showdown in this blog post!). This year, we upped the ante by stipulating that every cake had to be inspired by a Tiny Prints birthday party invitation, and the results were phenomenal!

Check out a few of our favorite cakes from yesterday’s big birthday bake-off. Which is your favorite sugary incarnation of a Tiny Prints design?

Picnic Thieves Summer Party Invitation

To match this adorable summer party invitation, this team created little ladybugs out of truffles and turned cake pops and cupcakes into popcorn, watermelon, chicken legs and more.

Ahoy Sailor Birthday Party Invitations

For this nautical-themed invitation, the team made a boat out of Rice Krispies treats and covered their chocolate cake in delicious marshmallow fondant. Too cute!

Watermelon Slices Party Invitation

What could be more perfect as a summer party treat than a few slices of watermelon? Only this adorable cake this team created to match our Watermelon Slices party invitation.

DJ Booth Dance Party Invitation

Since this is one of our teen birthday party invitations, this team took a retro spin on the cake design—complete with amazing ’80s fashion and some rockin’ music to match.

True Friend Birthday Greeting Card

It might not be a party invitation, but this snarky birthday greeting card offered the perfect inspiration for our group of staffers with June birthdays.

Summer Patio Party Invitation

In true Tiny Prints style, this beautiful cake table perfectly matches the sweet style of this summer party invitation. Plus, it looks like it could double for one of our DIY spreads of magazine ads!

I am soooooo impressed by this. These cakes are awesome. I can’t believe you have these “mad baking skilled” people working at your company and they are not working at a bakery! Wow! What a fun place to work . . . . there’s cake!!!!
