As you’ve likely seen by now, store shelves everywhere are lined top to bottom with Easter goodies. And if you’re hosting the family this Sunday, these cute carrot treats are a festive way to delight the youngsters, and the young at heart—not to mention, they’re way better than store-bought favors!

Supplies

-Orange candies

-Clear piping bags

-Green raffia or ribbon

-a cute gift tag, like our Elegant Eggs design seen here:

Step 1: Put a Tag on It

We used clear piping bags found in the baking section of our local craft store. Since they’re pretty big, you’ll need to trim them down at the top. Then, stick your gift tags to the bags before filling them with candy—this will ensure a smooth, clean look.

Step 2: Fill Your Treat Bags

Using Fruit Loops, Reese’s Pieces, candy corn or any other orange bite-sized treat you can find, fill up your plastic bags. Leave enough room at the top to tie with a ribbon.

Step 3: Tie It Up Cute

Using your ribbon, tie a bow to the top of your treat bag. When all your “carrots” are tied, they’re ready to be displayed! Easy, right?

If you try this craft, or any of our DIY ideas at home, send your photos to blog@tinyprints.com. We’d love to feature them!
