My family has been cutting our own tree for as long as I can remember. We head out to the tree farm around 6:30 in the morning and by 9 or 10 we are sitting on the back of our car, our freshly cut tree safely secured on top, enjoying hot chocolate, coffee and fresh donuts while we watch other families just arriving.

I love it! I want to do it. But my husband lives in China so I’d have to go cut it down alone, which might be troublesome.

I LOVE cutting down my own Christmas trees! My family and I have done it every single year since I was a baby! Yes, its a lot of work but my brother and I have fond memories of it that will last a lifetime!
