November 5th marks the first day of the five-day Diwali celebration, where Indian communities around the world come together to light small clay oil lamps symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
During Diwali celebrants wear new clothes and share sweets treats with friends and family members. Some Indian business communities kick off their financial year on the first day of Diwali, and people do their best to start off Diwali with no debt in the hopes that it will portend prosperity the following year.
So however you’re planning to celebrate Diwali this year, it never hurts to have another chance to spread good cheer and sweet words!
To help your family celebrate Diwali in style, we will be posting two Diwali designs each day to our Facebook page. Come by and tell us which of the two designs you prefer. The card with the most votes will be 50% off the following day.
