More Unusual Baby Names
Hot on the heels of our last blog on Wacky Baby Names, superstar Nicole Kidman named her new baby girl Sunday Rose, and megacouple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie named their twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
Although the twins’ names are certainly unfamiliar, it turns out they have familial ties–Knox is Brad’s grandfather’s middle name, while Marcheline is Angelina’s mother’s name in French. i just read that Minnie Driver is planning to use the name “Thomas” or “Isabel” — apparently she isn’t interested in following the wacky baby name trend!

Jessica Alba recently named her newborn Honor Marie and Kelly Rutherford (Serena’s mom on Gossip Girl) named her son Hermes because she loves the brand so much. I think this should be considered child abuse!

loll, wow i understand the need to want an unusual and memorable name for your offspring…but some of these are just downright painful to see!

Summer Phoenix & Casey Affleck: Baby son Indiana August

second grade teacher gonna make a “what on earth” face? yuup
poor child going to get teased mercilessly throughout grade school? totally.

Well at this rate eventually there will be more “creative names” than traditional ones and the Katies and Johns in school will be the ones getting picked on at recess.

But names like Moxie CrimeFighter (Penn Jillette’s daughter), Pilot Inspektor (Beth Riesgraf’s son) and Fifi-Trixibelle (Paula Yates’ daughter) are just cruel!

Hate it, they think they are so special that even their kids have to have wacked out names. I have a regular name and got teased at school, these poor kids are going to get stomped.
