There’s something comforting about being indoors, snug and warm while the rain pounds on the roof. But there’s something equally wonderful about being outside right after the rain has stopped falling.
Purists will tell you that the smell that permeates everything is ozone, but romantics will say that it’s the smell of a world scrubbed clean and of endless possibilities. It can be whatever you want it to be, but there’s no doubt it’s one of life’s tiny pleasures. And if you’re extra lucky you might even spot a rainbow while you enjoy the smell—double the magic!
