Growing up, summer seemed to last forever. Long days spent exploring the neighborhood with my brothers turned into late nights catching fireflies in glass jars while my parents sat on our porch reading their books and sipping Arnold Palmers—oh the nostalgic memories! As an adult, I try to make the most of my summer weekends because unlike the good old days, summer doesn’t stay around forever.

With the first 3-day weekend of the year right around the corner, I find myself consumed with planning the perfect itinerary for a proper summer kickoff. Biking or bathing? Camping or crafting? Day trip or dog park? I’m simply smitten with the endless possibilities of summer planning!

Are you planning any fun vacations or taking on a new project this summer? What’s your favorite way to celebrate the warmer weather with friends and family? You tell us!

We are probably going to spend most nights out on our newly finished deck, just relaxing and sipping pink lemonade!
