Video games have been linked to a variety of behaviors in children, from violent outbursts to better teamwork skills, improved cooperation and enhanced eyesight. Certain researchers even argue that evidence from the tragic school shootings of the last two decades shows that violent first-person shooter games train some children to become excellent marksmen—to society’s detriment.

With all of these conflicting arguments about kids and the relative benefits and detriments of video games, how do you manage your household media? Are your children allowed to play video games?
