Want to wow everyone on your guest list this Thursday? This darling DIY baking project goes out to all the youngsters at the kids table (and the young at heart, too!). All you need is a handful of ingredients from the grocery and you’ll be ready to talk turkey in a fun new way.

What You’ll Need

  • Sugar cookies
  • Candy corn
  • Chocolate cookie icing
  • Green cake frosting
  • Red decorating gel

Step 1: Get Feathered

Use the chocolate cookie icing to create a base for your candy corn feathers. Gently set them on the top of your turkey with the pointy side facing down and give them a couple minutes to set in place.

Step 2: Eyes, Beaks and Feet

Using the rest of your decorating supplies, make your turkey eyes, beaks and feet.

Step 3: Display and Delight!

Put one on each guest’s plate and get ready for the “cuuute” comments!

If you try this craft, or any of our DIY ideas at home, send photos to blog@tinyprints.com. We’d love to feature them. Happy crafting!
