In our neighborhood, and others I’m sure, there’s a “Booing” tradition. It’s a bit like the reverse of Trick-or-Treating. A few days before the event, children sneak around, depositing little treat bags on doorsteps, ringing the bell, and then dashing away before the home owner comes home. A cute Halloween card attached to the treat bag reads:
I love the tradition. It’s a sweet way to say Thank You! even before coming around to beg for candy. Even more fun, it’s a sweet way to start the Halloween candy giving before the actual date!
Have you ever been “Booed?” Do you “Boo!”?

Never heard of it before, really. Perhaps it’s because we lived on a dark street that parents didn’t often take their kids down.
My son might like to try this though, thanks for the suggestion.
I haven’t heard of this idea, but I LOVE it! Going to order the little kids cards right now!
