One year, my sisters and I brined a turkey. After hours of smelling those tantalizing turkey roasting smells we finally at long last tore into the golden delicious bird. And then we reached for our glasses and gulped about a gallon of water each. It was the saltiest, saddest turkey you’ve ever known. Practically inedible… though we tried!
Rumor has it that we might have done it wrong. Either way, we’re never trying that again.
