How many times have you heard that something only happens “Once in a Blue Moon”? Well, if that’s anything to go by, an awful lot of odd or interesting things are going to happen this Thursday night.
As it so happens, a Blue Moon isn’t as rare as we think. There’s one every time two full moons occur in one month; every few years or so. And no, the actual moon doesn’t turn blue, though it is rumored to have happened a few times.
So this Thursday as you’re getting ready to welcome the New Year, do something crazy and unexpected or buy a lottery ticket. You never know—everyone wins once in a Blue Moon!
