Capturing and sharing memories is one life’s little joys. So every month we’ll be sharing a great feature from Shutterfly’s Storytelling on inspirational ways to tell your story through words, photos, design and more.

First up? Meet Ali Edwards.

As a designer, blogger and author, Ali Edwards preserves everyday life. The memory keeper’s “passion resides in that very special place where the stories and images of life intersect.” These are her pictures and her words.

1. Two Years Old
I want to remember this time, our right now. That place in-between baby/toddler/little girl. The way your personality is developing. The things you say like “I need you Mama” and “poop stick” and “where’s Simon” whenever you haven’t seen him in a while.

2. Super Kids
I want to remember the way you and Simon love to play “super kids” with blankets and capes. You run around through the kitchen and entry and living room giggling and yelling (not always my favorite) and then giggling some more.

Want to see more? Check out the rest of Ali Edwards’ everyday moments.
