Tantalizing Turkeys from Oh Amanda
Post by Jessica R.
Turkeys can be brined, roasted, stuffed, or even deep fried. But who knew they could also be made from 100% delectable sweet cookies and candy? Oh yeah they can and Amanda, from Impress Your Kids, guest posted today at Make and Takes to show us how.
Let me just say that 1) It’s beyond cute and 2) It’s easy and 3) I want some now.
All you need is
- Oreos
- Candy Corn
- M&M minis (separate out the red ones)
- chocolate frosting
- bell shaped chocolates
Can you think of a tastier or cuter way to keep little cooks busy while you take care of the ‘real’ turkey?
Click through to see how to assemble these sweet treats and be sure to post pictures of your creations on our Facebook page if you make some!

Oh, yum! I am so doing this as a project for my 1st grade nutrition class! Might replace a few of these with a couple “healthier” options (maybe we’ll use whole grain muffins instead of oreos), but this is a way cute idea!
