Today we have the lovely Heather from Terrell Family Fun sharing her 5 year old daughters birthday party with us.
Hi! I’m Heather from Terrell Family Fun. Today I wanted to share with you a sneak peak at our Hello Kitty birthday party for our 5-year-old daughter! Hello Kitty is such a fun theme – there are so many DIY decorations you can do for this theme and it’s the ultimate girly theme! My daughter’s favorite colors are pink and purple so it fit right in.
First things, first – party invitations! Picking out an invitation that was colorful and bright was key, and when I saw the Harmony in Time invitation, it was an instant favorite of mine. I loved that we could include a photo of our daughter to incorporate the Hello Kitty theme in her outfit, and then have room for all of the party details.
Secondly, on the party table we had snacks, drinks and CAKE! To decorate the table more, I created a few 5×7 Acrylic Photo Blocks that everyone loved. They are high quality, a great keepsake and a perfect addition to any party table.
In addition to the invitations and photos – there are some really easy ways to add more pink to the party! Organize the plastic utensils in mason jars wrapped with pink and white ribbon. It’s inexpensive, yet cute!
Lastly, I made some Hello Kitty paper lantern decorations. They are very inexpensive as well, and add a lot to your party décor! Just take some white paper lanterns, cut out some black eyes, a yellow nose, pink bow and white ears – glue them all on and you have a DIY Hello Kitty Lantern!
