Okay, it’s true…I have lived in my current apartment for almost a year now, and the walls are still bare.  Unfortunately, my old apartment was no better.  I lived there for three years before we found the “perfect” art piece to go over our sofas.  I think its my fear of failure that prevents me from investing in a nice piece that I will have to look at day in and day out.

That’s why I was excited when the Nesting blog featured Figment Studio’s kid portraits.  Artist Kristine Baelin is a designer from Brooklyn, New York who takes a contemporary approach to pop art.  Using her unique style, Baerlin hand paints your portrait utilizing a signature circular pattern.
