Play Date Cards & Calling Cards

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

If you’ve ever met the parents of your little ones’ friends at the bus stop, while shopping at Target or at a neighborhood event, the encounter probably left you scrounging around in your bag for an old receipt to scrawl your name and number on in order to arrange a play date.

Although it’s always fun to bring home phone numbers scrawled on napkins, envelopes and the torn out pages of magazines, there’s a much easier (and more grown-up!) way to exchange contact information with other parents.

Check out these adorable little play date cards and calling cards that allow you personalize them with all the relevant info and a photo of your little one if you choose. It’s a convenient way for you and your kids to make new friends in a stylish way!

Happy Best Friends Day!

Monday, June 8th, 2009

Although you probably didn’t need a designated day to tell your best friend how much you appreciate his or her love and support, June 8 is officially National Best Friends Day. Take advantage of this chance to send your favorite people a few quick notes to remind them of just how much they mean to you!

Great Ideas: Baby Shower Guest Book

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Instead of the traditional guest sign-in, why not do something different and give out blank note cards to have guests fill in their favorite recipes? A great idea would be to ask other mothers for their homemade baby food recipes. Then, either send them the cards early for them to bring to the new mom’s big day or bring them to her shower. Each guest copies down the recipes with their name. That way mom can bring back something from the shower that will last a lifetime!

If your guests are clueless about cooking, give them a list of links to search for recipes. Check out Wholesomebabyfood.com for recipes like Sweet Potato and Pumpkin baby food! Or serve pear puree with recipes from Simplybabyfoodrecipes.com. We’re never disappointed by whatever Martha Stewart does. Check out her recipe for homemade baby food.

Then, just choose your card!
