According to this article from CNN Tech, more and more kids are lying about their ages to create profiles on social networking websites like Facebook and Myspace. Although both of these sites require users to be at least 13 years old, they have no real way to verify ages, which leads to computer savvy kids logging on in increasing numbers.

In what seems like yet another too-good-to-be-true scenario, a man named Dr. Siegal has been touting “The Cookie Diet” all over the media lately.

According to this article from The New York Daily News, the plan has participants eating six 90-calorie cookies throughout the day along with lots of water and 1,000 total calories from meals of lean protein and vegetables. Although it sounds great at the outset, the idea has come under attack recently by nutritionists who argue that the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to change your eating habits for life.
