Would You Peekaru?

Although I personally think they look like either robes worn backwards or the attire of a Franciscan friar, blanket apparel like the Snuggie has become eerily mainstream after the last holiday season. In fact, some of my esteemed colleagues are obsessed with their Snuggies and Slankets.

But the Peekaru—a Slanket-like product designed by TogetherBe—takes the idea to a new level because it is designed to be worn out in public over your babycarrier.

Would you wear a Peekaru? They look warm, comfty and fairly convenient, but I still think the idea of wearing a blanket as apparel is just bizarre. What do you think? You tell us!

Um.. that looks a little freakish. I’d prefer to have the baby’s head out and facing the mom. Great concept but it looks funny. I prefer the other products from TogetherBe.

That is the most disturbing thing I have seen in a long time. The woman looks like she is growing an alien child. I would never ever wear that and would be interested to see if anyone actually would.

    I don’t even know where to start…

very weird. I had three kids and I would never force myself or my children into one of these things… very unfabulous

I looks like that scene from “Aliens” when the alien busts out of the persons chest.
