For many admiring fans, Angelina Jolie is a jet setting supermom, balancing an impressive career with a growing family AND a hunky husband. But rumors of Angelina Jolie’s cover for W Magazine has a lot of people raising eyebrows. According to E! News, the photos that landed on the cover and in the feature of the magazine (some of which feature Jolie breastfeeding one of her babies) came from Brad Pitt’s personal collection of photos he took while the family was living in France following the birth of the twins.

Does the idea of a woman breastfeeding in a fashion magazine take things too far? Or is this just the next step in the evolution of the idea that mothers can be beautiful and artistic in their natural state, as Demi Moore argued when she posed nude while pregnant? What do you think about Angelina Jolie’s spread in W Magazine? You tell us!

I’m not a fan of her in the first place, so I tend to think most everything she does is bizarre. I wonder what the motives or incentives were for her to put such private moments out in the public. It just seems a little off to me.

I think there is something nice about the “natural” photos. Today you always see stars so made up, these candids really make them seem human. However, I am not so sure that I want to see a photo of anyone breastfeeding. It just seems to intimate of a process for it to be on newsstands everywhere.

  3. If she is breastfeeding, oh well. The cover clearly states “BRAD’s PRIVATE PHOTOS”. In this free country, we can choose To Buy OR NOT to BUY!

Let’s be honest here–she’s only doing it because she has a movie coming out. I think that if you want to use your personal celebrity to promote your work, that’s fine, but you should definitely leave your newborn babies out of it!
