In the online age where endless amounts of information are literally at your fingertips, a strange new phenomenon is taking place. Where once parents sat with their little ones to look things up in a dictionary or encyclopedia, now they simply plop them down in front of a computer and let them explore the world wide web or educational computer games more or less on their own.
