You Tell Us: Celebrating Halloween in School
Several news stories have come out recently describing how school districts are banning on-campus Halloween celebrations. With reasons varying from protecting students who don’t believe in the holiday to safety concerns and arguments that kids can’t focus during this type of celebration, schools say they simply can’t condone Halloween celebrations any longer.
Are your little ones planning to wear costumes to school? Will they hand out candy or other treats? What do you think about the ban on Halloween celebrations in some schools? You tell us!

I miss the days of my childhood when we HAD Halloween Parties! We were just discussing this the other day… I guess they could call it a “fall celebration”..

I agree with Dianna and Em! The world has become too politically correct. Our church preschool does let the kids wear their costumes to school one day but it’s not called a Halloween party it’s just costume day or something to that nature. Public schools can’t even have Christmas parties anymore it’s a holiday party.
